When is Navratri 2026?

Sharad Navratri 2026 begins on 11 October 2026 (Pratipada) and the ninth day, Navami, is on 19 October 2026, followed by Vijayadashami.

Why does each day of Navratri have a colour?

Each day is dedicated to one of the nine forms of Durga (Navadurga), and wearing that day's colour is a way of honouring her — orange for Maa Shailaputri on Day 1 through peacock green for Maa Siddhidatri on Day 9.

What can I wear in Kerala style for Navratri?

A cream handloom set mundu or kasavu saree with a border in the day's colour is the easiest way to follow the Navratri colours while keeping a traditional Kerala look — ideal for Golu visits, temple pujas and Vidyarambham. Browse our set mundu and set saree collections, or pick a day above.
